Hello,

for some days, I get this error message:

Code:

configuration error - unknown item 'GETPASS_ASTERISKS' (notify administrator)

when I log in as root or do 'su'.

What's wrong?

Hi, you just have to edit /etc/login.defs and comment the line # GETPASS_ASTERISKS 0
