I use Gentoo at work on a couple of machines. They all use the same portage tree. I usually update on one machine with --buildpkg and update the other machines with -the "-k" option. This works perfect so far.
However, when updating kde-meta it is updating around 300 packages. This means the update spends 25 minutes waiting because of the 5 seconds timeout before unmerge! Is there a way to reduce this time?
