Is there a way to use the ~x86 mask in /etc/portage/package.keywords so that it applies to all packages that are required by a given masked package. For example, if I want to emerge media-sound/banshee, I put the ~x86 line in package.keywords, but then I get the following when I try to emerge banshee:
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=media-plugins/gst-plugins-faad-0.10.0" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- media-plugins/gst-plugins-faad-0.10.1 (masked by: ~x86 keyword)
- media-plugins/gst-plugins-faad-0.10.0 (masked by: ~x86 keyword)
For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
!!! (dependency required by "media-sound/banshee-0.10.10-r3" [ebuild])
This requires me to go in one-by-one and unmask each dependent package in package.keywords. Is there an easier way ? |
