Hi

I did just finnish my installation of gentoo on my local fileserver.
When I run dmesg I get loads of strange messages that i dont really understand, any ideas?

The entire dmesg is saved here: http://www.onemanarmy.net/temp/oscar/dmesg_install.txt

Any ideas?

It looks like those are created by a Grsecurity option in your kernel. Maybe you have some of the "Kernel Logging" options enabled.

Yes. I have those enabled, isnt that good?
I did read the descritons & did choose those i thought was good?

so the msg is no problems? a bit annoying that i cant se the whole dmesg thing cause of those loggs?

Yes there is nothing wrong. If you aren't going to use the msgs generated you will probably want to recompile your kernel with those options disabled. In the meantime, keep a close eye on the size of your log files especially if /var/log is not on a separate partition. The df command (I remember the name by "disk full?") is a great way to check.
