Problem with ati 9800pro

So i got most of my stuff installed but running into the problem with the ati drivers. i think i installed everything but when i modprobe fglrx i get this error

fglrx: Unknown symbol inter_module-unregister
fglrx: Unknown symbol inter_module-get_request
fglrx: Unknown symbol inter_module-put
fglrx: Unknown symbol inter_module-register

I'm useing what ever drivers i get from doing a emerge ati-drivers i don't think they are the most recent in portage but I'm not sure how to get the new ones.
