Some of you may get the message, "Permission denied" when trying to su to root from a user account, even though you have the proper authorization.

The problem here is that the user account isn't part of the wheel group.

Here's how you can fix it. As root:

gpasswd -a username wheel


:P replace username with the actual username :wink:
