Hello, not sure if this has been mentioned before. For Firefox I found out quite by accident. Say your on a large page and want to search for the word dog. pressing Shift d will open up the find box with d already typed in just continue typing og and if there are any instances of dog of course they will be highlighted. Delightfully, after a few seconds the find box closes itself. pressing F3 will continue to search for more instances of dog without opening the search box again. Try it on a page with multiple instances of the same word. |

in 1.5.x (and maybe earlier, I don't remember)
firefox supports all sorts of easier ways to find stuff.
just start typing and a box pops up, or hit / and start typing and a box pops up |
