Try this:
| Code: |
ebuild /usr/portage/sys-apps/sandbox/sandbox-1.2.12.ebuild digest
|
then try emerging portage again. This isn't a permanent fix, because the ebuild may change, but at that point, it'll have a new digest anyway, and you'll have gotten it by syncing.

| The solution given by didymos comes from this sticky. So it is a known problem with the SHA256 hash. |
