Hello All,

I'm running 2.6 kernel on SunFire280R.
I have some problems running Darwin Streaming Server I've compiled on this machine with gcc/g++, so I'd like to try with egcs (Installation script should do some optimization with this compiler)

Here is my emerge info:

egcs? Wow! It's been a long time since I last heard anyone ask about that one. egcs was created in 1997 as a gcc fork and was merged again in 1999. Actually, it was more like egcs became gcc but that's another story... :-)

egcs was a nice compiler at that time and I switched to it, too, but I would rather use Watcom than egcs today.

You might be able to get it somewhere on the net but it won't solve your problems but create new ones.

Ok, this is probably a mistake but if you really want to do this...
