PHPMYADMIN cannot load mysql extension

Hi all,

I have this message when I trying to use phpmyadmin

cannot load mysql extension
please check PHP configuration
Documentation


And in the documentation say....
a problem probably with mysql.so and use any package called "PHP-MYSQL"


Where can I find any of this package or what can I do???

you should only get this if you have php compiled with the "-mysql" USE flag (which nailed me pretty hard after the recent forced php "upgrade")
