Hello,
I installed a gentoo server for SSH mainly without any graphical interface.
The problem is when I want to do a emerge world, it wants to install x11 and all graphical stuff, but I don t want to install it on my server, how can I do?

X will be a dependency of one of the packages you have installed (or are trying to install). If you issue "emerge -pvt world" then you can see which package depends on X. Post the list here and we can see whether it is safe to rmove it, or if it is possible to recompile it without X support.

I'd suspect the opengl USE flag on libsdl (which is pulled in by the sdl USE flag on links, you probably want to disable that one).
