Xorg wont start after emerge upgrade [solved]

Hi all, i just performed after holiday the usual emerge sync && emerge -uDv world and xorg wont start again. My config was using xgl-coffee portage before, but i understand several new packets reached arch mask stage in gentoo that previously were unavailable.
the error is as follows:

the xorg related files i noticed that went to upgrade after the holiday was xorg-server and some xorg-conf. the xorg-server version is now 1.0.99.901-r1

any hints are highly appreciated,

noted that the problem is already known.

emerge -av =x11-base/xorg-server-1.0.2-r3

because the new xorg-server-1.99.901-r1 is incompatible to the current setup
