Hello
I only have icons for mail and contacts in my evolution (2.6.2-r1).
Running it from a console gives this:
Code: | $ evolution-2.6
(evolution-2.6:12228): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot activate 'OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Memos_Component:2.6': g_module_open of `/usr/lib64/evolution/2.6/components/libevolution-calendar.so' failed with `libgnutls.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
(evolution-2.6:12228): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot activate 'OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Tasks_Component:2.6': g_module_open of `/usr/lib64/evolution/2.6/components/libevolution-calendar.so' failed with `libgnutls.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
(evolution-2.6:12228): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot activate 'OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_Component:2.6': g_module_open of `/usr/lib64/evolution/2.6/components/libevolution-calendar.so' failed with `libgnutls.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
(evolution-2.6:12228): e-utils-WARNING **: can't load plugin 'libgnutls.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
(evolution-2.6:12228): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL parameter.
(evolution-2.6:12228): e-utils-WARNING **: can't load plugin 'libgnutls.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory' | Which looks as if it should mean something to someone.
Does it?
Thanks in advance.

You're absolutely correct.
Thanks very much for the prompt (and accurate) response.

I had the same probelm and used revdep-rebuild to fix it. However, I am not sure how to determine why this is needed. Do I just look for "cannot open shared object file" and similar errors? |
