I emerged/upgraded baselayout to try out parallel booting, but it seems that udev came with it (yes, shame on me for not using emerge -p...) and now I can´t boot the system. I get an error saying that the hard drive's superblock is corrupted or not found. I guess it means that it doesn't find /dev/hdaX. Because it is only mounted read-only, I can't unmerge udev or do anything to fix this! Can anyone help?
thanks in advance,

Well, I fixed this error by adding devfs=nomount to the kernel options... Now there is only a problem with loading the ALSA mixer levels... I will probably fix that soon. |
