no sound in kmplayer[SOLVED]

Hi I got no sound in kmplayer! ive tried messing around with options and searched alot on these forums but nothing...i tried to

USE="win32codecs" emerge kmplayer

but nothing! whats wrong? i do have sound in xmms.

any idea??? :/

BTW i tried vlc aswell and the sound and picture is working but its really crappy quality, i mean the picture in kmplayer is just floating but vlc is more laggy but the sound was ok...maby theres a way to make vlc go smoothly? trying to run a .mkv movie!

go into your mplay options and go to the "audio" tab, and play around with that a lil bit.

ya ive done that a little while now

in General Options -> Output i tried every audio driver, no luck...

omg no wait, you had to restart the program every time you changed settings.. :/
