Hello,
can anyone tell me how to setup pictures on my cube. I use gconf. And there is a key for skydome and so on. Do I have to give a name of a pic there? Must this be a png or what format? And where must I put this file. Do I have to give the full path to the key???
An example would *really* help me!
Thanks a lot! |

For the top of the cube you will want to go here in gconf-editor
/apps/compiz/plugins/cube/screen0/options/svgs and add a svg /path/image.
I only had luck with a 1600x1200 svg image.
For the skydome you will need to read this
http://macslow.thepimp.net/?p=31
Using this command "glxinfo -l | grep GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE" in a terminal will
give you an idea what size png image you will be able to use in the skydome entry here
/apps/compiz/plugins/cube/screen0/options/skydome_image
Mine said
zero@vger ~ $ glxinfo -l | grep GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE
GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE = 2048
so i made a .png image 1024x1024 _________________ Core i7 920 D0 | Asus P6T DLX | Patriot Viper 1600 6GB | Antec Quattro 850W
