Set up serveral UML servers behind firewall/gateway

I am trying to set up some UML servers such that each one has its own ip on the network. For each server I have created a eth0:x interface and given it an ip of the network. I am having problems with the iptables nat translations. I want eth0:x's ip address to map only to the server I have designated to listen on that port. That server of course has a different ip, a private one. Has anyone done this successfully... Is there an easier way, I am using the tuntap networking on the uml machinces.
