ok...I've read through a few of the threads here and I guess I'm completely puzzled as to what I need to do to get a Java VM (either the Sun or the Black) configured in Mozilla.
Last time I tried, I did a emerge -C mozilla...set the system VM to the Sun package, and then did an emerge Mozilla...and zip...
Before that, same as above, but I set the system VM to the black. I thought I created my symlinks correctly, but I'm not sure if I did that right or not..
What exactly do I need to do or what am I missing here?? |

If you installed a prepackaged JVM, then it won't work unless it was the latest blackdown one (currently with KEYWORDS="~x86").
try
Code: | ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge blackdown-jdk |
and set system vm to blackdown 1.4.x
and make sure there is a symlink in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to the java plugin |

Just to settle my own mind...what exactly does the ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" supposed to do?? |
