can't Emerge Thinkpad

Hello everyone,
For various reasons, not to mention the fact that id really rather Xorg recongised my IBM tackpoint, I'm trying (vainly) to emerge "thinkpad"... it goes away, starts going through stuff like it usually does (its going for 5.8 (apparently stable)), and then comes up with a few errors, then throws in the towel. The errors are as follows:

You could try to update to thinkpad-5.9-r1, which seemed to work over here. :wink:

Thanks for pointing that out... i'll see what i can do with it. I may be back (hopefuly not)
