Hello forum,
I am having problems with emerging the new version of mldonkey. When trying to emerge I receive:

ml_rsvg.c:(.text+0x9c): undefined reference to `rsvg_handle_new_gz'

Error during linking
make: *** [mlchat] Error 2
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
!!! ERROR: net-p2p/mldonkey-2.6.4 failed.

this error message. I couldn't find any help on the net / forum.

For all of you who have the same problem and don't know wether re-emerging ocaml will help:
it will.
I got the same error as s.o.l.a.r.i.s - re-emerging ocaml and running the update-script it suggests at the end of the successful emerge solved it for me. |

This worked for me also, my process:
emerge dev-lang/ocaml
sh /usr/portage/dev-lang/ocaml/files/ocaml-rebuild.sh
emerge =dev-ml/lablgl-1.00 && emerge =dev-ml/lablgtk-2.4.0
and finally...
emerge net-p2p/mldonkey
But it now works! |
