I just upgraded to gcc-4.1.1 and I have succesfully accomplished an emerge -eav system. I am now working on doing an emerge -ev world, but the emerge stalls upon getting to nvidia-kernel because I am using the riva drivers in the kernel. I have made sure that nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel are unmerged but emerge still insists upon emerging nvidia. How can I figure out what packages depend on nvidia so I can remove them?

Also check if you have nvidia in VIDEO_CARDS variable in make.conf |
