gentoo, irda i telefon - problem z uruchomieniem portu

Witam wszystkich forumowiczów.
Z problemem, o którym będę tu pisał nie mogę dać sobie rady ... szukałem na google, innych forach i dalej mi to nie działa.
Chodzi o skonfigurowanie portu podczerwienie dołšczanego do komputera przez USB.
Skompilowałem obsługę w jšdrze, wykonuję wszystko:

#modprobe irda irtty. irattach /dev/ttyS1 -s
#irdadump

wczeœniej utworzyłem odpowiednie nody:

#mknod /dev/ircomm0 c 161 0
#mknod /dev/ircomm1 c 161 1
#mknod /dev/irlpt0 c 161 16
#mknod /dev/irlpt1 c 161 17
#mknod /dev/irnet c 10 187
#chmod 666 /dev/ir*

zainstalowałem irda-utils i openobex i dalej nic..
co robię Ÿle ??

Jeżeli ktoœ już to przechodził, to niech rzuci okiem na to co napisałem i podpowie jak to mam uruchomić, albo chociaż powie gdzie mogę szukać sposobu skonfigurowania tego ustrojstwa
