This is usually caused by your machine not being able to arp correctly. Adding all IP's running on the local box to /etc/hosts usually fixes it. Somthing like

127.0.0.1 localhost
10.10.10.10 host.domain.com
192.168.1.10 mail.domain.com

etc

Hi Again

Every thing is fine. The hostname is set and the relevant stuf is in the hosts file.

Any other ideas ?

Thanks
