|
|
Hi!
Have deperately been trying to get syncekonnector running.
configure returns that it can't find libkonnector.so for syncekonnector-0.1 as well as syncekonnector-0.2.1.
I did a "ldd /usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkonnector.so" and saw nothing suspicious. All libraries are available and linked against the current KDE version.
I compiled some test programs using "-lkonnector" and "-lkabc" without problems.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Andreas Achtzehn

Hi,
I have the same problem than you. Are you using the kde-svn split ebuilds?
If not, current syncekonnector ebuild in portage seems to have a fix for you issue. Unfortunatelly, it doesn't work on my system.
Thanks. |

OK,
for all people want's to deal with syncekonnector in the future, the dependencies are a little wrong or, better not very exhautive.
Doing the following
Code: | echo "kde-base/kdepim ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.use (if you are using the x86-branch)
emerge kdepim |
will result in a Slot-Installation of kdepim 3.5 (for users still using kde 3.4)
Don't forget to install the other things, syncekonnector depends on naturally (e.g. some kde-3.5 things).
Then try emerging syncekonnector. Should work now.
So, hope this helps some people...
