Recently, i bought a intel pro/wireless 2200. I follow the instructions in gentoo-wiki.com, i installed the latest drivers and firmware, but when i do:

Unassociated?, crap, here must be something like ieee802.11, but it doesn't. What's going on? |

| That just means it hasn't connected to any Access Point. Have you set up your /etc/conf.d/wireless correctly? |

No, that's not the point. When i set up the wireless connection, i can view the name of the ap in the Access point field (it shows "not associated" in the quote). The problem is in the field that shows "unassociated". |
