Amule com problemas, ele finaliza sozinho

Olá pessoal, estou a utilizar o Gentoo ia64 2005.1 e estou enfrentando uns problemas com o amule, de repente ele finaliza e não mostra nenhum erro, ao iniciar pela linha de comando, ve-se isso:

Ele finaliza quando aparece a mensagem que está em negrito, o que poderia ser?

Você está usando o aMule como root?
Porque?

Usando como root para testa-lo somente, pq com usuario não root da um erro assim:
