okay i have a onboard VIA VT823x PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter and i cant seem to find drivers for it... as i am new to gentoo any help from the pros would be very much appriciated. thnx in advance
also when i try to view the netconnections i just get the lo not eth0 or any thing. |

According to their website, the built-in lan is a VIA® VT6103L 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet PHY
It appears that you have been searching for the wrong information.
