Hello, I've got an UltraSPARC10 running the 2.6.14.4 kernel. It is itermittenly hanging. Usually without an error. I did get this today however:

Feb 9 09:56:41 sparky tsk->{mm,active_mm}->context = 00000000000002b0

Is this a hardware or software issue? |

Try a newer kernel first, currently recommended is gentoo-sources-2.6.15-r4. _________________ Gustavo Zacarias

have you done a memory test lately on these sparc? I caught mine this way.
The kernel is fairly stable unless you got experimental drivers installed. _________________ Clusters of Fry's Special, AMD 2200, 2 GB DDR, 220 GB (2008.1/desktop, stage 1, -O3) x8

If it's OOPSing on different situtations then it's a safe bet something hardware-related is broken. _________________ Gustavo Zacarias
