|
|
Hi all
I know this topic has been posted several times, but annoyingly having followed the suggestions in all the other threads I still have the same issue. Emerging anything gives the error
Cannot resolve a virtual package name to an ebuild.
!!! This is a bug, please report it. (virtual/libintl-0)
I have tried emerge --sync and after 88% of building the cache I get the error, I have tried removing /var/edb/db or something to that effect and then running emerge --regen once again i get the same error.
I have downloaded a tarball of portage as suggested in one of the other threads, and yet still cannot overcome this error. Oh and I have made sure the my make.profile symlink points to the correct place
Has anyone got any ideas? I am really not used to troubleshooting portage as it normally just works, so if theres any configurations or logs I can post that may help please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Ben

I'll reveal you a secret. I went to bugzilla, searched for "ALL virtual/libintl-0", looked at first bug, saw it was a duplicate of the one I posted
Seriously, glad that you've solved, you're welcome. _________________ Adopt an unanswered post
