|
|
Gentoo was installed and all seemed well until I wanted to add some parameters to the kernel line (for cd burner). I noticed that I didn't have /boot/grub (so no /boot/grub/menu.lst). All I had was bzImage and bzImage.orig in /boot.
I have since created /boot/grub/menu.lst but GRUB doesn't seem to want to use them.
Any idea if I mucked something up during the install? Everything else is working perfectly (x, fluxbox, grip, etc).
All help will be GREATLY appreciated!

I thought the stuff in /etc/fstab was mounted automatically. Oddly enough, the noauto means something in there! Read through the man pages and found the information I needed.
Mounted /boot and all is well. Guess we all learn sometime.
Thanks for the help.
