I have a pc running linux that acts as a gateway for other pc's. The only drawback is that I have to manually add my isp's dns servers to the other pc's.
Would it be possible to just put the dns server as 192.168.0.1 (the linux box) on all the windows pc's ?
cheers,

I had the same situation as you.
My fix was to use dnscache from the djbdns tools.
This way all boxes behind the gateway get dns from the gateway and the gateway gets it's dns from my ISP
Hope this helps |

you can pass out dns server ips with your dhcp server.
option domain-name-servers 1.2.3.4, 5.6.7.8; |
