Does anybody know if net-wireless/rt2500 includes support for the USB cards (the 2570s?). I compiled the rt2500 driver and whenever I insert my card it doesn't say anything. A quick look through the changelog revealed something about CONFIG_4KSTACKS being off. I know ndiswrapper wanted that too and my kernel was compiled with it on. If you go onto the official site the 2500 download is different than the 2570. Its the same thing, just the 2570 has usb support. Any help?

I can't help but am having issues with the same hardware. DWL-G122B1

I've been successfully running ndiswrapper-1.2 on 2.6.12-suspend2-r6 kernel. I tried to update to 2.6.14-suspend2-r7, and in doing so recompilled ndiswrapper-1.2-r1. (There was a major change in the 2.6.14 kernels that required this upgrade.) However, after doing so, I can't seem to make wlan0 work.

Code:
 * Starting wlan0
 *   Bringing up wlan0
 *     Configuration not set for wlan0 - assuming dhcp
 *     dhcp
 *       wlan0 does not exist                                                [ !! ]

I downloaded the latest drivers, nothing. I attempted ndiswrapper-1.8 with all driver versions, nothing.

After giving up, I tried to reinstall the old setup with the 2.6.12-suspend2-r6 kernel, and now that won't even work. (All the prior things should be the same!!!). The module inserts fine in most cases, however the old driver which worked before is now said to be invalid when I do ndiswrapper -l.

I'm at a loss, anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
