go in the settings in the game and set the same resolution as your X is, and it should be enough ;)

Uh, Starcraft doesn't have that option. And for all other games, tremulous, nexiuz, etc. it's the same thing. I had it working on my previous installation. I still think it's something with the xorg.conf. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Go the other way. You need to add all of the resolutions that the games want to use to your xorg.conf Screen section. (like you currently have 1280x1024, you need to add the others too. And for all color depths.)

Edit: Here is an example.
Code:
Section "Screen"
  Identifier "Screen0"
  Device     "Card0"
  Monitor    "Monitor0"
  DefaultDepth     16
  SubSection "Display"
    Viewport   0 0
    Depth     8
    Modes    "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" "640x400" "512x384" "400x300" "320x240" "320x200"
  EndSubSection
  SubSection "Display"
    Viewport   0 0
    Depth     16
    Modes    "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" "640x400" "512x384" "400x300" "320x240" "320x200"
  EndSubSection
  SubSection "Display"
    Viewport   0 0
    Depth     24
    Modes    "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" "640x400" "512x384" "400x300" "320x240" "320x200"
  EndSubSection
EndSection

Hey !

Up up, it doesn't work for me !

Seen that messages in xorg log :

Code:

(EE) fglrx(0): Cannot get requested mode 640 x 480 @ 60.000000
(EE) fglrx(0): Falling back to last mode in modelist 1152 x 864 @ 43.000000 .

My xorg.conf was already correct. Tremulous go full screen when I use the radeon driver (but is unplayable !) but not with fglrx driver. I'm running 1280x1024.
