And I have a KT266A. Can't remember in which log I saw this message though. Why does it think this? I'm using the vanilla 2.4.20 kernel and enabled VIA chipset something-or-other (posting from work, can't remember where the option was :p ). Was this a bad thing to do? If so, would it be a bad thing to disable it when recompiling the kernel or should I do something else to get it to recognise my chipset correctly?

If everything is working fine, agp, dma etc... then I wouldn't worry about it.
