Problemmet är att om jag försker start upp linux utan att ha varit i windows innan blir skärmen svart när kde ska start. Om jag däremot startar upp windows och låter datorn start om för att starta linux fungerar det jätte bra. Tror att problemet kom efter att installerat ati drivrutinerna.

System: Gentoo(64 versionen)
Processor: amd64 3000+
Modekort: K8V Delux
Grafikkort: Ati Radeon 9800 Pro
skärm: Hercules 920 DVI PRO TFT

Pröva med OpenSource drivrutinerna...
Dom bör stödja ditt kort, kanske tom bättre än vad ATis drivare gör. Så är det iaf med mitt R9000 Mobile.

Du kan ju också kolla in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-374745.html om du vill ha 3d-support. Funkar bra med mitt 9700, får dock inte lika bra FPS som med ATI-drivers men det kan jag leva med.

EDIT: Asch, mittåt. Det kommer inte att funka med din Xorg-version såg jag. Funkara bara med xorg-x11-6.8.99.15 och uppåt vad jag förstår. Men det kan ju vara ett tips till kommande äventyr :wink:
