I was wondering, why shows this at the end:
Code: | Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LINGUAS |
I checked out wikipedia what these variables do, and found this(only thing I knew: LINGUAS and LANG are some language stuff, see http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/guide-localization.xml ):
Wikipedia gave me some Infos about ASFLAGS and LC_ALL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASFLAGS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LC_ALL. But I still don't now what LC_ALL is good for . The same goes with CTARGET.
Do I have to set these Variables, or should I leave them unset? Especially the ASFLAGS seem to be interesting.. |

Leave this flags untouched. If you want a localized system set the LC_* variables according to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/guide-localization.xml. But leave ASFLAGS and CTARGET alone if you don't know what you are doing. _________________ There are no dumb questions, just dumb answers.
