I have 1 question.
There is mozilla-firefox in portage, but it compiles as 64-bit software, so i can't use flash.
There is also mozilla-firefox-bin, but it's optimised for i686 => it's slow.

Is there any possible to optimise software for K8 Processor, but compile it as 32-bit software? I don't want to optimise it for i686, or athlon-xp. I want to optimise it for Athlon64.
Is it possible? If yes, how?

32Bit Chroot Guide for Gentoo/AMD64
I used this to make a stage4 for pentium4 on my nocona/amd64 system.

Although it sounds like the problem is flash itself which runs like crap on a 64bit system.

Hmm....
It's not that, what I want.

I have installed 64-bit Gentoo OS optimised for K8. I don;t want to install second Gentoo. I just want to instal in my system FireFox. I can use mozilla-firefox-bin package, but it's slow, so I want to recompile it and optimise using my make.conf (optimise for K8), but build 32-bit binary instead of 64-bit. Maybe ebuild modification? Maybe shoud it use gcc32 instead of gcc?

What do you need flash for?

It's completely useless.

I always run my amd64 Firefox with Adblock & Flashblock extensions installed.
