I've been using opera recntlly I like it a bit more than firefox. I have always been having trouble with it crashing semi-randomlly it seams that some times some pages will just crash it. I have tried both opera 8 and the beta 9. Also I think something might be wrong with operamotifwrapp which seams to sometimes take up lots of memory and cpu time.

Start Opera in a terminal, use it like you always do, when it will crash paste the output.

I have the same problem and there seems to be no pattern in the crashes. Using inspectr as suggested in a previous thread has not given any clue on what the problem is. I have started a thread on the problem on opera.com, so it would be great if you could chip in with your experiences.

yeah, I'm getting pretty sick of it. I updated maybe 4 weeks ago (as part of a 3 month cycle), and it started crashing after that. I've been running it in terminal and it just says 'killed'.

This is just one of a whole host of problems I am unable to resolve this time around. Usually everything works fine.
