I've got dnsmasq running as my DHCP server right now, but the DHCP table's become full thanks to a lot of VMware sessions. I had a look around, but I couldn't figure out how to flush the DHCP table. Anyone know how? |

From the depths of my memory, it's probably a matter of just deleting the relevant file then rebooting your dnsmasq box or just restarting the dnsmasq daemon.
The bigger issue is why vmware keeps getting new ip addresses - why don't you set up dnsmasq to give the same ip address to vmware's virtual ethernet card MAC address, or use the bridged networking feature (iirc ... I'm in Windows at the moment but when I rebbot to Gentoo I'll check how I've set up vmware, as I'm using both it and dnsmasq for dhcp on my server box with no such problems). _________________ Jingle Jangle Jewellery |

It's not that it's one instance of VMware that gets different IP addresses each time, it's just that we have about 10ish boxes with VMware installed, some of which have about 6-7 different images running.
I guess I'll dig around for the file that has the leases in it. |
