|
|
I am trying to set-up Gentoo on a Netra T1
I have net-booted fine and am trying to configure.
When I set up eth0 I get these messages continually -:
eth0: switching to forced 10bt
eth0: switching to forced 100bt
eth0: switching to forced 10bt
eth0: switching to forced 100bt
eth0: switching to forced 10bt
eth0: switching to forced 100bt
eth0: switching to forced 10bt
eth0: switching to forced 100bt
eth0: switching to forced 10bt
And the network doesn't work.
Anyone got any ideas?

try
modprobe tulip options=14,14
that forces it to 100mbit
Don't use the dmfe driver, it's not working. |

Yeah, SUN is kinda weird with the NIC's on the T1 AC/DC200's.
Had that problem my self too. Didn't understand why it wouldn't work.
