Hi I want to install the drivers for my new printer. The drivers are at:
http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/support.html
There are only rpms. Which one shoulkd I take? I tried with both possibilities, but in bot cases rpb tells me that all dependencies are missing. But they are installed. I checked with portage. Cups is also working correctly with my old printer.
Oh almost forgot, I'm running an amd64 system. Any ideas? |

If you're still interested:
I bought this printer just this week, and I created an ebuild for the driver:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123095
The driver is 32-bit binary, so you'll need to run it in 32-bit mode to work. _________________ Life is like a box of chocolates... Before you know it, it's empty... |
