SCUSATE PROBABILMENTE HO INSERITO IL POST NEL POSTO SBAGLIATO. PREGO I MODERATOREI DI PROVVEDERE (GENTILMENTE). SCUSATE.
Sono due stampanti usb, ma non esistono i files /dev/usb/lp0 e /dev/usb/lp1, non esiste nemmeno /dev/usb!!

ti consiglio di leggere prima questo http://www.gentoo.org/doc/it/usb-guide.xml dopo ci che procedi con l'installazione di CUPS... lì basterà che selezioni il tuo modello dopo di che fa tutto lui

Sembra che manchi il modulo specifico per il tuo controller usb ({o,u,e}hci-hcd).

Ho risolto tutto con coldplug. In effetti mi ero dimenticato dei moduli usb..... coldplug li carica...
