|
|
Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago my laptop battery died while my gentoo was suspended. Now everytime I boot I see this in my message log:
swsusp: Resume From Partition /dev/hda3
Checking swsusp image.
Resume from disk failed.
ACPI wakeup devices:
As far as I can tell it hasn't really affected anything as I can boot into gentoo and log in to gnome just fine. Just was curious how to solve this. I've tried swapoff and mkswap /dev/hda3 and also re partitioning. Booting with "noresume", however, does work. My machine is ~x86 arch and my kernel is gentoo-sources-2.6.17-r5 running the latest gnome and gnome-power-manager. Also I'm not using Suspend2.
Thanks in advance! |
