hey i would like to know how to know what must be enabled and what must be disabled in my kerenel configuration to get my sound working. Also what must be enabled / disabled in my kernel to get my USB mouse working, when i modprobe mousedev it cannot locate the module |

In kernel, sound should be compiled as modules or built in which ever makes you happier and there is an option Inetl or I 8x0 select that either as module or built it....AS for the mouse, if you modprobe and it cant find it, that usually means that you did not compile it in the kernel....Hold on I am at school, but when I get home I will check my kernel config and give you the exact settings. _________________ Travel, without movement. |
