Im having problems with emerging amule. this is the error i get while emerging

and this is what i get when i -pv it

Welcome to the forum.

1. Could you post the config.log mentioned (the relevant parts at the end)

2. Are you sure your toolchain is setup correctly? Did you change something in the system lately? Seems like your gcc is not configured correctly. If everything breaks reemerge it and if that does not help do "emerge -e system"

and yes my tool chain should be fine


and i have not touched any of the toolchains. i was able to emerge another program just a little while ago

I never had problems with amule compilation. I use wxGTK version like you and gcc-3.4.x. Dont know the exact versions and cannot look before this evening.

The problem is your CFLAGS.
The aMule configure script will filter the -fomit-frame-pointer flag, however you have specified -fomit-frame-pointers (with an s), which causes your CFLAGS to be transformed to '-march=k8 -O2 -pipe s'. To fix this, simply correct the -fomit flag in your CFLAGS.
