I have multiple Apache processes running. Is this normal?
When I run: | Code: | | ps -ef | grep apache |

It looks like something isn't exiting properly. Is this a config error?

i don't think so.. 
by default apache starts some processes, not just one.
to tweak this check out apache configuration file
