Arowanna PCMCIA Lan Card: can't enable.

Dear friends:

Just tried to install Gentoo on a partition on my omnibook xe2 laptop, and found my first problem:

I got a arowanna pcmcia lan card: works just fine under Red Hat with pcnet_cs module; when I try to:

modprobe pcnet_cs

from live_cd (relase 1.4-rc3), it turns on the control leds (act/link), but can't:

dhcpcd eth0

nothing happens.

Suggestions?
