Alsa-lib and jack.h problem

This morning portage tells me to "update" alsa-lib:
[ebuild UD] media-libs/alsa-lib-0.9.0_rc8-r2 [0.9.0.1_rc8]
But gcc returns an error compiling alsa-lib:
pcm_jack.c:36:23: jack/jack.h: No such file or directory
And a lot other errors, but I gess they are all related to jack.h (which is missing)

Has anyone had this problem and how did you solve it??

But to my own defence: I did a search through the bug-database, but I couldn't find anything
