The problem is that i want to make my fan run slower, with a help of software. Is there any way to do it? any program or smth.
My cpu is
intel celeron 3.06
512 mb ram
Nvidia Geforce4 128mb |

you can turn down the speed of the CPU, which will not make it as hot, which will slow down the fan, or at least not turn it on as much. |

well i´ve tried, but it didn´ change the speed of the fan, it runs very fast, making terrible noise, it is impossible to work. Is there any other way? |

do you have a controller on your board that can handle the fan interaction? i don't know of any PC's that have these controllers. Sensors, yeah, but no controllers, unless you build your machine yourself with high-end parts, it's quite unlikely this is gonna work out for ya. |
