E250, Raptor GFX fb (Permedia 2), kernel is 2.6.13-gentoo-r4.

When I boot, first I get the standard looking Sun white console, then it switches over to the color fb device, but running at 640x480, and it looks all wavy on my LCD monitor.

After logging in and doing a:

Code:

fbset 1280x1024-60

my console looks as expected, 1280x1024 @ 60 Hz.

How do I pass that info to the kernel so it does the same thing at boot time?

I've searched here, and only see info for folks using the atyfb device, which I believe is only for ATI boards, no? I've also googled my brains out and come up dry..

And my answer is to pass video=pm2fb:1280x1024@60 to the kernel.
